Make with Perl.

Integrated development environment for Geany or similar editor for compiling running and documenting programs written in a number of languages.

Installation

Install from CPAN

sudo cpan install MakeWithPerl

Configuration

Configure Geany->Build->Set Build Commands as shown in the following image: .

Perl

The text to enter for Perl is:

perl -M"MakeWithPerl" -e"MakeWithPerl::makeWithPerl" -- --compile "%d/%f"

perl -M"MakeWithPerl" -e"MakeWithPerl::makeWithPerl" -- --run     "%d/%f"

Java

For java, specify a folder for the class files that will be created by the compilation using the --javaHome keyword. This folder is used to hold the class files from several java folders so that classes can be reused.
