INSTALLATION
============

PREREQUISITES
-------------

Net::DNSServer requires the following:

  Perl         >=  5.003
  Net::Server  >=  0.62
  Net::DNS     >=  0.19
  Net::Bind    >=  0.04

RPM binaries and source of Net::DNS 0.19 which work
on the old Perl 5.005 as well as Perl 5.6.0 (linux)
are available here:

  http://perldns.8k.com/

Demo scripts may require some or all of the following:

  MIME::Base64
  IPC::ShareLite
  IPC::SharedCache
  AnyDBM_File
  Storable


BUILD
-----

To build this module, run the following commands:

    perl Makefile.PL
    make
    make test
    make install

When you run "perl Makefile.PL", it should complain
if any of the required modules are missing.  Install
those first then try again if you run into trouble.

RPM
---

If you prefer the rpm method instead, use the tarball.

    perl Makefile.PL
    make dist
    rpm -ta Net-DNSServer-*.tar.gz

# rpm -ivh /usr/src/*/RPMS/*/perl-Net-DNSServer-*.rpm
