<strong>How do I use UTM parameters with ClickMagick?</strong><br />
<br />
If the request to your tracking link or rotator contains any of the following UTM parameters, ClickMagick will automatically convert them and store them as Sub-IDs:<br />
&nbsp;
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="width: 397px;">
	<tbody>
		<tr>
			<td valign="top"><strong>[utm_source]</strong></td>
			<td style="width: 10px;">&nbsp;&nbsp;</td>
			<td style="width: 239px;">Sub-ID 1 /&nbsp;<code>[s1]</code></td>
		</tr>
		<tr>
			<td valign="top"><strong>[utm_medium]</strong></td>
			<td style="width: 10px;">&nbsp;</td>
			<td style="width: 239px;">Sub-ID 2 /&nbsp;<code>[s2]</code></td>
		</tr>
		<tr>
			<td valign="top"><strong>[utm_term]</strong></td>
			<td style="width: 10px;">&nbsp;</td>
			<td style="width: 239px;">Sub-ID 3 /&nbsp;<code>[s3]</code></td>
		</tr>
		<tr>
			<td valign="top"><strong>[utm_content]</strong></td>
			<td style="width: 10px;">&nbsp;</td>
			<td style="width: 239px;">Sub-ID 4 /&nbsp;<code>[s4]</code></td>
		</tr>
		<tr>
			<td valign="top"><strong>[utm_campaign]</strong></td>
			<td style="width: 10px;">&nbsp;</td>
			<td style="width: 239px;">Sub-ID 5 /&nbsp;<code>[s5]</code></td>
		</tr>
	</tbody>
</table>
<br />
If you&rsquo;re not familiar with how Sub-IDs work within ClickMagick, just see this FAQ:<br />
&nbsp;
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="box-sizing: border-box; border-collapse: collapse; border-spacing: 0px; max-width: 100%; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">
	<tbody style="box-sizing: border-box;">
		<tr style="box-sizing: border-box;">
			<td style="box-sizing: border-box; width: 20px;"><a href="/user/faqs.cgi?answer=3"><img height="20" src="//cdn.clickmagick.com/images/user/faqpage.gif" style="box-sizing: border-box; border: 0px; vertical-align: middle;" width="17" /></a></td>
			<td style="box-sizing: border-box;">&nbsp;</td>
			<td style="box-sizing: border-box;"><b><a href="/user/faqs.cgi?answer=3">How do I use Sub-IDs with my ClickMagick tracking links?</a></b></td>
		</tr>
	</tbody>
</table>
<br />
&nbsp;<br />
If you need to pass your UTM parameters on to your landing page (your Primary URL), you can easily do that by using ClickMagick&rsquo;s UTM tokens in your Primary URL as explained here:<br />
&nbsp;
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="box-sizing: border-box; border-collapse: collapse; border-spacing: 0px; max-width: 100%; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">
	<tbody style="box-sizing: border-box;">
		<tr style="box-sizing: border-box;">
			<td style="box-sizing: border-box; width: 20px;"><a href="/user/faqs.cgi?answer=41"><img height="20" src="//cdn.clickmagick.com/images/user/faqpage.gif" style="box-sizing: border-box; border: 0px; vertical-align: middle;" width="17" /></a></td>
			<td style="box-sizing: border-box;">&nbsp;</td>
			<td style="box-sizing: border-box;"><b><a href="/user/faqs.cgi?answer=41">What data can I pass to the URLs I promote?</a></b></td>
		</tr>
	</tbody>
</table>
&nbsp;<br />
&nbsp;
<div class="faq-note"><b>Important:</b> If you use both Sub-IDs and UTM parameters with your tracking links, you can only use up to a maximum of 5 values between the two. So for example if you pass in 2 Sub-IDs, ClickMagick will only record up to the first 3 UTM parameters for a total of 5 Sub-ID values.<br />
<br />
There&rsquo;s rarely a reason to use both Sub-IDs and UTM parameters, especially more than 5, so this shouldn&rsquo;t pose any problems for you &ndash; but if it does please let us know and we&rsquo;ll see if we can help you with a solution.</div>
