NAME

vw - a deployment system for Squatting apps

SYNOPSIS

Usage:

vw <COMMAND> [OPTION]...

DESCRIPTION

vw is the front-end to App::VW which is a deployment system for Squatting apps.

SUBCOMMANDS

help [SUBCOMMAND]

Invoked by itself, it displays a list of subcommands.

vw help

If given a subcommand, it'll display an abbreviated version of that subcommand's documentation.

vw help install

install

The install command copies an init script to /etc/init.d/vw and creates a directory for configuration files called /etc/vw.

sudo vw install

setup <App> [OPTION]...

This command is used to setup a Squatting app for deployment through vw. You should go to the directory your Squatting app will be run from and run this command.

Example: Setting up the ChatterBox app on port 5000

cd /www/chatterbox.com
sudo vw setup ChatterBox --port 5000

start

This is the same as: /etc/init.d/vw start.

stop

This is the same as: /etc/init.d/vw start.

restart

This is the same as: /etc/init.d/vw stop.
