NAME

Mail::DMARC::Report::Store::SQL - store and retrieve reports from a SQL RDBMS

VERSION

version 2.20261030

DESCRIPTION

Uses ANSI SQL syntax, keeping the SQL as portable as possible.

DB engine specific features are to be avoided.

SYPNOSIS

Store and retrieve DMARC reports from SQL data store.

Tested with SQLite, MySQL and PostgreSQL.

UPGRADING

Databases created by Mail::DMARC 2.20260827 or earlier lack the RFC 9990 report fields (np, fo, testing, discovery_method) and the policy_test_mode reason. share/mail_dmarc_rfc9990.* adds them, one file per engine. Until then, reports are stored without those fields and unknown reasons are stored as other.

Databases created before Mail::DMARC 2.2 also lack the indexes dmarc_httpd needs, which share/mail_dmarc_indexes.* adds.

On first connecting to an existing database, the store checks for both and warns once per process with the command that applies each missing upgrade.
