    Resolve issue with API change in Net::DNS::Packet

    0.68_01 of Net::DNS changed the API for passing a scalar ref to
    Net::DNS::Packet->new().

    Errors are now in $@ and the length is in the second returned value.

    At least passing a false value as the second parameter actually
    surpresses debug output now, so removed the hacks to shut that shit
    up.
