    - No change in functionality -- yet
    - But added a file used in testing and generated via 'make' when building
      a CPAN module.  If this does well on CPANtesters, we will revise the
      documentation to reflect extended usability of this module beyond the Perl 5
      core distribution.
    - In one test stanza, began to explore the possibility of offering the
      user the option to replace "smart quotes" with ordinary double-quotes
      (along the lines suggested by Yves Lubin in a pull request).
