- Require Net::Nostr::Core 1.002000 or later for the September protocol
APIs, preventing incompatible mixed-version installations.
- Preserve arbitrary naddr1-prefixed raw group IDs during discovery and
migration. Test the actual discovery POD example, use distinct lookup
subscription IDs, and document transport completeness and cleanup duties.
- Add Net::Nostr::GroupDiscovery for NIP-29 cached admin discovery,
periodic/offline lookup coordination, fork notifications, and signed
migration list construction, preserving public and encrypted entries.
Applications supply lookup transport, persistence, and user interaction.
- Include client NIP conformance tests in the distribution's test target.
- Pass optional NIP-67 hints as the second eose callback argument (undef for
legacy messages). Preserve the subscription ID as the first argument.
- Tighten incoming EVENT validation: always verify the event ID and Schnorr
signature before invoking the event callback, for stored and live events
- Drop events that fail verification with a warning and continue processing
later messages on the same connection

- First independent Net-Nostr-Client release, split from Net-Nostr
- Provide Net::Nostr::Client as the WebSocket client implementation
- Depend on Net::Nostr::Core for protocol objects and message handling
- Leave the Net::Nostr::Core dependency unversioned for split-release indexing
- Use Makefile.PL as the single dependency source of truth
