TableDataRole::Source::Iterator - Get table data from an iterator

This document describes version 0.008 of TableDataRole::Source::Iterator (from Perl distribution TableDataRoles-Standard), released on 2021-04-13.

SYNOPSIS

package TableData::YourTable;
use Role::Tiny::With;
with 'TableDataRole::Source::Iterator';

sub new {
    my $class = shift;
    $class->_new(
        gen_iterator => sub {
            return sub {
                ...
            };
        },
    );
}

DESCRIPTION

This role retrieves rows from an iterator. Iterator must return row must return hashref row on each call.

reset_row_iterator() will regenerate a new iterator.

METHODS

_new

Create object. This should be called by a consumer's new. Usage:

my $table = $CLASS->_new(%args);

Arguments:

  • gen_iterator

    Coderef. Required. Must return another coderef which is the iterator.
