NAME

Graph::Maker::OliveTree - create star-like graphs

SYNOPSIS

use Graph::Maker::OliveTree;
$graph = Graph::Maker->new ('olive_tree', N => 3);

DESCRIPTION

Graph::Maker::OliveTree creates Graph.pm olive tree graphs. An olive tree is a root vertex with N paths below it of successive lengths 1..N. For example

   1
 / | \
2  3  5        N => 3
   |  |
   4  6
      |
      7

N=0 is no arms, just the single root vertex.

FUNCTIONS

$graph = Graph::Maker->new('olive_tree', key => value, ...)

The key/value parameters are

N           => integer
graph_maker => subr(key=>value) constructor, default Graph->new

Other parameters are passed to the constructor, either graph_maker or Graph->new().

If the graph is directed (the default) then edges are added in both directions. Option undirected => 1 creates an undirected graph and for it there is a single edge each.
