Authen::Simple::Twitter - Simple authentication using Twitter or Identi.ca

SYNOPSIS
use Authen::Simple::Twitter;
# authenticate against Twitter
my $twitauth = Authen::Simple::Twitter->new();
if ( $twitauth->authenticate( $username, $password ) ) {
# successful Twitter authentication
}
# authenticate against Identi.ca
my $dentauth = Authen::Simple::Twitter->new(identica => 1);
if ( $dentauth->authenticate( $username, $password ) ) {
# successful Identi.ca authentication
}
FUNCTIONS
new
This method takes a hash of parameters. The following options are valid particularly for this module:
identica
A boolean indicating whether or not to authenticate to Identi.ca instead of Twitter.
See Authen::Simple for other common parameters which are also valid.
authenticate( $username, $password )
Returns true on success and false on failure.
