NAME

Data::Sah::Coerce::perl::To_str::From_str::convert_perl_pm_or_pod_to_path

VERSION

This document describes version 0.050 of Data::Sah::Coerce::perl::To_str::From_str::convert_perl_pm_or_pod_to_path (from Perl distribution Sah-SchemaBundle-Perl), released on 2024-02-16.

DESCRIPTION

This rule can convert strings in the form of:

Foo::Bar
Foo/Bar
Foo/Bar.pm
Foo/Bar.pod

into the filesystem path (e.g. /home/ujang/perl5/perlbrew/perls/perl-5.24.0/lib/site_perl/5.24.0/Foo/Bar.pm) when the module or POD exists in @INC. Otherwise, it leaves the string as-is.

Note that .pm is prioritized over .pod. If Foo.pm and Foo.pod are both found on the filesystem, Foo.pm will be returned.

CONTRIBUTING

To contribute, you can send patches by email/via RT, or send pull requests on GitHub.

Most of the time, you don't need to build the distribution yourself. You can simply modify the code, then test via:

% prove -l

If you want to build the distribution (e.g. to try to install it locally on your system), you can install Dist::Zilla, Dist::Zilla::PluginBundle::Author::PERLANCAR, Pod::Weaver::PluginBundle::Author::PERLANCAR, and sometimes one or two other Dist::Zilla- and/or Pod::Weaver plugins. Any additional steps required beyond that are considered a bug and can be reported to me.
