NAME
XML::Pastor::Builtin::dateTime - Class for the W3C builtin type dateTime.
WARNING
This module is used internally by XML::Pastor. You do not normally know much about this module to actually use XML::Pastor. It is documented here for completeness and for XML::Pastor developers. Do not count on the interface of this module. It may change in any of the subsequent releases. You have been warned.
ISA
This class descends from XML::Pastor::Builtin::Scalar.
DESCRIPTION
XML::Pastor::Builtin::dateTime represents the builtin W3C type dateTime.
METHODS
INHERITED METHODS
This class inherits many methods from its ancestors. Please see XML::Pastor::Builtin::Scalar for more methods.
CONSTRUCTORS
fromDateTime()
my $object = XML::Pastor::Builtin::dateTime->fromDateTime($dt);
CONSTRUCTOR.
The fromDateTime() constructor method instantiates a new object from DateTime object. It is inheritable. The necessary conversion is done within the method.
OTHER METHODS
setFromDateTime()
$object->setFromDateTime($dt);
This method sets the value of the object from a DateTime object. The necessary conversion is done within the method.
toDateTime()
my $dt = $object->toDateTime();
This method returns the value of the object as a DateTime object. The necessary conversion is done within the method.
xml_validate_further()
This method is overriden from XML::Pastor::SimpleType so that dateTime values can be checked for logical inconsistencies. For example, a month value of 14 will cause an error (die).
