Changes for version 3.0.5 - 2026-10-26

  • reject clearly invalid input before calling the API: 3 word addresses that aren't three dot-separated words, coordinates that aren't latitude,longitude within valid ranges
  • Net::Ping and Net::Ping::External are only loaded by ping(), Net::Ping::External is now an optional dependency
  • no longer depends on URI
  • remove unused Data::Dumper
  • document reusing one instance to keep the connection open
  • offline tests for request building and input checks
