Changes for version 0.318 - 2026-08-08

  • "no_cpan" now defaults "version_finder" to ":MainModule", so a distribution that never reaches CPAN keeps its $VERSION in the main module only. Setting "version_finder" explicitly still wins.
  • Remove the share/claude-skill.yaml ShareDir. It was an outdated copy of the Claude skill (last touched in March, still under the old "dzil-author-getty" name) that nothing ever read; the skill is distributed via .claude/skills instead. This also drops the File::ShareDir::Install configure requirement.
