Changes for version 0.025 - 2026-06-28

  • New features
    • Implement authentication via Service Accounts, introduced in Jira 11. https://confluence.atlassian.com/enterprise/service-accounts-overview-1627095923.html.
  • Deprecation
    • Since CentOS is no longer maintained we're dropping support for it and, consequently. Now Jira::REST requires Perl 5.34, which ships with Ubuntu 22.04, which will reach EOL on April, 2027.
  • Incompatible changes
    • The new_session constructor was deprecated on version 0.022 and is now removed.
    • The 'proxy' key to the REST::Client hash was deprecated on version 0.017 and is now removed.
