Changes for version 0.03 - 2026-09-27

Standardize on Picotls as the single QUIC TLS backend.
Always build the tested ngtcp2 1.25.0 and pinned Picotls pair instead of selecting an arbitrary system crypto helper.
Continue using a suitable host OpenSSL 1.1.1 or newer for Picotls cryptography and X.509 handling.
Keep using Alien::OpenSSL as the Unix fallback when no suitable system OpenSSL development installation is available.
Keep using the active Perl toolchain OpenSSL on Windows.
Preserve crypto_backend, crypto_package, crypto_cflags, and crypto_libs for downstream compatibility.

Find or build the native libraries needed for QUIC

To install Alien::ngtcp2, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm Alien::ngtcp2

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install Alien::ngtcp2
