NAME
Math::NumSeq::TotientSteps -- repeated totients to reach 1
SYNOPSIS
use Math::NumSeq::TotientSteps;
my $seq = Math::NumSeq::TotientSteps->new;
my ($i, $value) = $seq->next;
DESCRIPTION
How many repeated applications of the totient function to reach 1, so 0, 1, 2, 2, 3, 2, etc. For example i=5 goes 5- > 4 -> 2 -> 1 so 3 steps.
FUNCTIONS
See "FUNCTIONS" in Math::NumSeq for the behaviour common to all path classes.
$seq = Math::NumSeq::TotientSteps->new ()
-
Create and return a new sequence object.
$value = $seq->ith($i)
-
Return totient(i).
