update get_if() to use Net::Interface 1.00x
remove early "use Devel::CheckLib" so that automated test routines have a chance to find in the the Makefile.pl prerequisites list.
add definitions of ETH_HLEN and IP_HDR for systems that don't provide it
add "configure" script
remove dependency of Devel::CheckLib

gather stats on network connections

network profiling reports

netaddr utilities

To install Net::Connection::Sniffer, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm Net::Connection::Sniffer

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install Net::Connection::Sniffer
