http://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=53929 -- applied a patch (thanks Olivier Macchioni) that generates the smallest SAN notation in case of an ambiguity.

represent chess positions, generate list of legal moves, parse moves in various formats.

To install Chess::Rep, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm Chess::Rep

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install Chess::Rep
