FHIR R4 fixture provenance

patient-bundle.json is a reduced and curated derivative of a synthetic FHIR R4 patient Bundle generated by Synthea. The source Bundle was obtained from the official Synthea sample data downloads.

The Patient, Condition, laboratory Observation, Procedure, and MedicationRequest examples retain the structure and synthetic terminology used by Synthea. Convert-Pheno contributors reduced those resources and added a Specimen, a specimen-linked Observation, an HPO-coded Observation, a ResearchStudy, a ResearchSubject, and a Group to exercise the supported mapping boundaries. These additions are project-authored synthetic test data and do not represent a real person or study.

mCODE fixture

mcode-patient-bundle-jenny-m.json is the complete, unmodified extended example Bundle published with the official mCODE 4.0.0 implementation guide. It was retrieved on 2026-08-02. The corresponding source release is 4.0.0, commit 543477b5585f2dcc717820a2bea141ea85f03012.

The fixture is synthetic and exercises the mCODE Patient Bundle, primary cancer condition, TNM stage, treatment, genomic, specimen, performance-status, and tumor-marker profiles. The mCODE implementation guide is distributed under the CC0 1.0 license.
