  • Security
    • A response with Cache-Control: no-cache is no longer stored in the server-side cache, since replaying it skips the revalidation that no-cache requires
    • optimise_content: hostile HTML, such as long runs of white space, unterminated <title> or <a href=" tags and unclosed <pre> elements, took quadratic time and could hold a worker for minutes. The squashing now runs in linear time
  • Bug Fixes
    • optimise_content: a visible space between two inline elements was removed, e.g. "Hello <b>world</b>" became "Hello<b>world</b>"
    • optimise_content level 2: the <!-- hiding technique was looked for past the end of a <script> tag, so the text of a later HTML comment could be shown on the page
    • optimise_content level 2: document.write calls in a script of another type, such as a template, could be merged, and the script's type was changed to text/JavaScript
  • Tests
    • Added .github/workflows/extra-ci.yml
