This document describes version 0.006 of App::CryptoCurrencyUtils (from Perl distribution App-CryptoCurrencyUtils), released on 2018-01-30.
DESCRIPTION
This distribution contains the following CLI utilities:
FUNCTIONS
coin_cmc
Usage:
coin_cmc(%args) -> [status, msg, result, meta]Go to coin's CMC (coinmarketcap.com) currency page.
This function is not exported.
Arguments ('*' denotes required arguments):
symbols_or_names* => array[cryptocurrency::symbol_or_name]
Returns an enveloped result (an array).
First element (status) is an integer containing HTTP status code (200 means OK, 4xx caller error, 5xx function error). Second element (msg) is a string containing error message, or 'OK' if status is 200. Third element (result) is optional, the actual result. Fourth element (meta) is called result metadata and is optional, a hash that contains extra information.
Return value: (any)
coin_mno
Usage:
coin_mno(%args) -> [status, msg, result, meta]Go to coin's MNO (masternodes.online) currency page.
Currently does not perform any translation between CMC -> MNO currency code if there is a difference.
This function is not exported.

list_coins
Usage:
list_coins() -> [status, msg, result, meta]List cryptocurrency coins.
This utility lists coins from CryptoCurrency::Catalog, which in turn gets its list from https://coinmarketcap.com/.
This function is not exported.
