NAME

move-files-here - Move files in subdirectories to the current directory

VERSION

This document describes version 0.005 of move-files-here (from Perl distribution App-FileRenameUtils), released on 2020-08-21.

DESCRIPTION

This utility will rename duplicates with the (n) suffix, e.g.: foo.jpg into foo (1).jpg, foo (2).jpg and so on.

HISTORY

Packaged into App-FileRenameUtils as move-files-here. Some enhancements.

First written as gather-files-here on 2004-04-01.
