toposort - Sort topologically

This document describes version 0.001 of toposort (from Perl distribution App-toposort), released on 2017-04-03.

SYNOPSIS

toposort [OPTION]... [INPUT]...

Sample input:

c: a
c: b
b: a
d: c

Sample output:

d
c
b
a

DESCRIPTION

This utility accepts items from input lines. If input line is in the form of:

A: B

then it means A must come before B (or you may also read it as "B depends on A"). After all input is read, this utility will perform topological sort on the dependency graph and print the items in order. Cyclic graph will result in an error.

EXIT CODES

0 on success.

255 on I/O error.

99 on command-line options error.
