NAME
Slack::BlockKit::CompObj::Text - a Block Kit "composition object" for text
VERSION
version 0.002
OVERVIEW
This is the text "composition object", which is used for non-rich text values in several places in Block Kit.
PERL VERSION
This module should work on any version of perl still receiving updates from the Perl 5 Porters. This means it should work on any version of perl released in the last two to three years. (That is, if the most recently released version is v5.40, then this module should work on both v5.40 and v5.38.)
Although it may work on older versions of perl, no guarantee is made that the minimum required version will not be increased. The version may be increased for any reason, and there is no promise that patches will be accepted to lower the minimum required perl.
ATTRIBUTES
type
This required attribute must be either plain_text
or mrkdwn
, and instructs Slack how to interpret the text attribute.
text
This is the string that is the text of the text object. There are length constraints enforced by Slack but not by this code. Be mindful of those.
emoji
This optional boolean option can determine whether emoji colon-codes are expanded within a plain_text
text object. Using this attribute on a mrkdwn
object will raise an exception.
verbatim
This optional boolean option can determine whether hyperlinks should be left unlinked within a mrkdown
text object. Using this attribute on a plain_text
object will raise an exception.
