SYNOPSIS

In Perl:

use Data::Unixish qw(lduxl);
my @res;
@res = lduxl(tail => (1..100)); # => (91..100)
@res = lduxl([tail => {items=>3}], (1..100)); # => (98, 99, 100)

In command line:

% seq 1 100 | dux tail --format=text-simple -n 5
96
97
98
99
100

FUNCTIONS

tail(%args) -> [status, msg, result, meta]

Output the last items of data.

Arguments ('*' denotes required arguments):

  • in => any

    Input stream (e.g. array or filehandle).

  • items => int (default: 10)

    Number of items to output.

  • out => any

    Output stream (e.g. array or filehandle).

Return value:

Returns an enveloped result (an array).

First element (status) is an integer containing HTTP status code (200 means OK, 4xx caller error, 5xx function error). Second element (msg) is a string containing error message, or 'OK' if status is 200. Third element (result) is optional, the actual result. Fourth element (meta) is called result metadata and is optional, a hash that contains extra information.
