NAME

HTML::DOM::Element::TableSection - A Perl class for representing table sections in an HTML DOM tree

SYNOPSIS

use HTML::DOM;
$doc = HTML::DOM->new;
$elem = $doc->createElement('thead');

$elem->vAlign('top'); # set attribute
$elem->align;         # get attribute
$elem->tagName;
# etc

$elem->rows->[0]; # first row
($elem->rows)[0]; # same

$row = $elem->insertRow(7);
$elem->deleteRow(1);

DESCRIPTION

This class implements 'thead,' 'tfoot' and 'tbody' elements in an HTML::DOM tree. It implements the HTMLTableSectionElement DOM interface and inherits from HTML::DOM::Element (q.v.).

METHODS

In addition to those inherited from HTML::DOM::Element and its superclasses, this class implements the following DOM methods:

align
ch
chOff
span
vAlign

Each of these returns the corresponding HTML attribute. (ch and chOff correspond to 'char' and 'charoff,' respectively.) If you pass an argument, it will become the new value of the attribute, and the old value will be returned.

rows

This returns a collection of the table's rows.

insertRow

Insert a new row at the given index and returns it.

deleteRow

Deletes the row at the given index.
