fixed call to SetupGpio(), case was wrong
renamed gpio_scheme() call to pin_scheme()
removed erroneous call to external module (pin_scheme())
POD cleanup, re-worded $pin descriptions, and fixed up setup*() routine explanations

Direct access to Raspberry Pi's wiringPi API, with optional Perl OO access

To install WiringPi::API, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm WiringPi::API

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install WiringPi::API
