SYNOPSIS

load|perl:load
load_per_cpu|perl:load -r -w 1.5,1.2,1 -c 3,2.5,2

DESCRIPTION

Checks the 1, 5, and 15 minute load averages, the same as check_load. Each is WARNING or CRITICAL if it is over its limit. On Linux they are read from /proc, and on FreeBSD through BSD::Sysctl. Other OSes are UNKNOWN.

OPTIONS

- -w, --warning :: "1,5,15", the limits for each average. Default :: 15,10,5

- -c, --critical :: "1,5,15", the limits for each average. Default :: 30,25,20

- -r, --per-cpu :: Divide the averages by the number of CPUs first.
